Your Take Me There profile exists for one purpose: to give you a travel experience that feels like it was designed specifically for you. The information you share helps our AI — and any travel agent you work with — understand who you are as a traveller, so every recommendation, itinerary, and inspiration card is relevant to your life and your style of travel.
When you use Inspire Me, ask Jacko a question, or have Take Me There design a trip for you, our AI reads your travel profile before responding. This means it already knows whether you prefer boutique hotels or luxury resorts, whether you travel at a slow pace or like to pack in as many experiences as possible, and what kinds of activities genuinely excite you versus the ones you would rather skip entirely.
Without a profile, AI recommendations are generic. With one, they are tailored. The more detail you add — especially your free-text Travel Personality description — the more accurate and useful every suggestion becomes.
If a travel agent builds a trip for you through Take Me There, they can view your profile to understand your preferences before they start planning. This saves you from having to repeat your preferences every time, and means the agent can get straight to building something you will actually love.
Your passport details, dietary requirements, and emergency contact are also available to agents so they can handle bookings, visa applications, and documentation accurately without needing to chase you for information at the last minute.
Hotels, restaurants, tour operators, and other travel businesses can use Take Me There to send you their digital business card directly. By default, your profile is searchable by these businesses so they can find and connect with you.
If you prefer not to be discoverable in this way, you can turn off Show my profile in business card search results in your Account settings at any time. This does not affect any connections you have already made.
Every field in your profile is optional. You can update or delete your information at any time from your Account settings. The more you share, the better Take Me There works for you — but you are never required to provide anything beyond your email address.
